Download Wspeak for macOS and Windows
1) System Requirements
- Apple Silicon (M1 and newer): macOS 13.0+
- Intel (x86_64): macOS 13.0+
- Windows x64: Windows 10/11
2) Installation
- Download the installer for your system:
- On macOS, open the DMG and move Wspeak to Applications.
- On Windows, run the EXE installer and follow the setup wizard.
- Launch the app and complete the initial setup.
3) macOS Permissions
The following permissions may be needed:
- Microphone — to hear your voice
- Screen Recording — to capture system audio
- Accessibility — for hotkeys and overlay/text insertion (dictation mode)
System Settings → Privacy & Security
4) Audio Diagnostics
If "PC Sound" or "Microphone" aren't working:
- Check that the correct microphone is selected in macOS settings
- Check permissions (especially Screen Recording and Microphone)
- Restart the app after granting permissions
